This Privacy Policy explains how Tennis Trackr ("Tennis Trackr", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use our mobile applications and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address and the login credentials you use to create and access your account.
- Match & performance data — the matches, points, shots, statistics, goals, practice notes and coaching notes you create in the app.
- Profile & relationship data — player profiles, family groups, team rosters and the roles (player, parent, coach) that connect people you choose to share with.
- Device & usage data — app version, device type, diagnostic and crash information used to keep the Service reliable.
- Notifications — a push notification token, if you enable notifications, so we can alert you to relevant matches and updates.
How we use your information
- To provide core features — recording matches, computing statistics, tracking goals and enabling collaboration.
- To share match data and notes with the people and groups you explicitly choose (family members, coaches, teammates).
- To send transactional and notification emails you have opted into, and to let you manage those preferences.
- To maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
How your data is shared
Your match and performance data is private to you by default. It is shared only with the people and groups you add — for example, a family group or a coach's team roster — according to the visibility settings you control in the app. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service, including Google Firebase for authentication, database and hosting, and an email delivery provider for transactional messages. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your data or request account deletion at any time, after which we remove your personal data except where we are required to retain it by law.
Children's privacy
Tennis Trackr supports youth players whose profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian. Accounts for children are established and controlled by a responsible adult, who manages the child's data and sharing settings.
Your choices & rights
- Access, correct or delete your information from within the app.
- Control who can see your matches, goals and notes through group and visibility settings.
- Manage or disable notifications and notification emails.
- Request account deletion by contacting us.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted transport and access-controlled infrastructure, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
